Is only my download slow like a lazy dog???
Well I will see/hear Tahiti in person this afternoon...

Now, finally I got it too, shoots like an old hunter, that's the problem with the open Quicksilver exhaust...

Not sure they will let me pass the Swiss border with that stuff , but I'll give it a shot.
Eric, could you give me an exact date yet? I would have some organizing to do, business- and familywise

I'll be in Oberkulm from Thursday 08 afternoon to Saturday 10 night..heading to Paris Sunday early morning. No french handphone yet, but I'll let you know if I get a temporary one. I'll be around the garage anyway..you can't miss me : it's a blue Countach, new engine, new gearbox, new tyres, new brakes, new fire fighting system, new exhaust, blablabla...
You can come anytime..we'll be there

Well, what shall I say, I think they need to remove the engine again from Tahiti

Because she's running so fine it can't be true

But another thing we have to tell, unfortunately Eric, Tahiti can no more have it's engine lid...

Since it's used as underfloor spoiler for the red QV in the showroom

To avoid a heartattack of Eric let's get serious again: Marcel fixes at the moment the broken Ammeter gauge, the odometer wire and installs the fire exstinguisher.

He fired her to show me how smooth she's running, meanwhile the popping in the exhaust disappeared and she sounds now incredible nice.

See next pics...

And finally the Diablo struts await installation, the EBC red brake pads are already installed.

Man, you had me scared for a minute there, and it's not even my car.
I guess the Tahiti has become 'everybody's baby' over the last ten months.
I'm planning to leave on the 9th at 6 am, it's 680 kms. Shortest route is via Luxembourg - Metz - Strassbourg, but that means I can't go much faster than 140 (kms) as the French police seem to have lost their sense of humour. I should be able to get there around noon. I'll buy you guys lunch.
I would like to book a hotel on line. Any suggestions?
