AC unit on LP400 and early LP400S cars

My AC unit siezed on a recent trip to the mountains. I need
advice on where I can find a replacement unit or a place that
might rebuild my unit. I want to keep with the old R12 freon.
Please send your experiences and advice.

I can have your old unit rebuilt for $400 or less and you can buy the R12 on Ebay, without a license!
