Default 94 VT Diablo Airconditioning Compressor

Hi
I am looking to upgrade my airconditioner compressor. I hear there is a porsche equivalent. Can you please give me some advice if this is correct or what else is available?
Thanks again.

I put a new one in my 92 Diablo, had trouble with part #s. So what I did was called the manufacturer, its a Sanden 7 piston, they are all the same as long as you get the correct pully on it. Then you need to change the head off the back, just like 6 bolts, then all the plumbing is correct.

That way its only a couple of hundred bucks as opposed to 1500 from lambo.

Is it better than stock?
Does it blow colder air and is it more powerful?

Dear Lamborghinisti,

Instead or changing you compressor, you can just get it rebuilt. I had mine from my 91 Ferrari Testarossa done by Air Cool in Orlando. They are the same company Ferrari of Central Florida sends their compressors to.

Are you sure you're not having another problem. I live in central Florida and find the AC in my Diablo Roadster OK....not as good as my F 250 though

A Diablo is like a hot tall thin blonde. Sooo seductive, you just keep putting up with her crap. Buying her high-heels or headers, you know she costs you a fortune. But riding her....oh soooo good!

Hey Shamile, how much did it cost you to get it rebuilt? If you don't mind me asking.

I think my new one was $225.

But you are correct, mine blows cold now that everything is working, he needs to run through the whole system to determine what is causing the problem. Could be alot of things.

I can't remember off hand but I will pull my bill and post the cost and telephone number.

BTW, I listed this on the TR cross reference thread on F C*** started by JAYF. Those boxer guys wouldn't make it a sticky
