Default Stranded in an intersection...Need HELP

I have an 04 Gallardo with E-gear with 13k miles and updated 06 E-gear software and I was stranded in the middle of the road a few times after the car would not engage into first gear. The problem started after I noticed the car would only drive in first gear and would not allow me to upshift. All the gears along the cluster would blink in red from 1-6. Then as soon as the car stopped at a light the R and N would blink in red. At that point I couldn't shift into first no matter what I did and was left stranded like a jerk who didn't know how to drive his car . I took the car into the dealer and after they plugged it in for codes, there were 0 faults. The dealer has no idea what it can be but only to give me advice of driving it until it happens again and drive it into the dealer then. Has this happened to anyone before?

^^If you noticed, he edited his original post which I read correctly, which did not mention that.
I replied to the original post @ 7:01, he then edited his post at 7:04 and included he did the egear update.
So back on topic!

Maybe your elbow or arm is hitting one of the buttons on the console?
Are you putting it into neutral as you come to a stop?
