So,
Does H&T seem to have any discernible benefit (or, dare say it, detriment) on the wear life of the Gallardo clutch? I Heel & Toe every shift in all of my cars, and have done so ever since learning it in '91 (you tend to use it all the time), and have even found i've glazed a clutch on my daily driver due to the babying it got. Just interested to see whether people who H&T have found a benefit in the longevity of their clutch. Cheers, Mike. |

H&T generally does increase the life of the clutch. Glazing is generally due to the clutch is not allowed to fully engage during shifts and the clutch slips or the car is under extreme loads and the clutch slips.

I guess "not enough info" is going to be the overriding trend? Incidentally, when I say "glazed", I doubt either of the options would have applied since my daily driver is a Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi with a whopping 67bhp (and 135lbft though). ![]() |
