Default Gallardo Tyre Pressure

I am a new owner of a 06 Gallardo (migrating from a GT3 Porsche), and have not yet received the Owners Manual. The tyre pressure in the door sticky shows 44psi, which is in absolute terms, very high. Is this the pressure that most of you use in street use? Does the Manual recomends anything different? Thanks for the help, I could not find in the search any reference to tyre pressure.

That's the max pressure. I run 30-32PSI front, 32-34PSI back depending on winter/summer temperatures.

Tks Monahan. Your suggestion is well below the stick in the door. Do you know why is that? Do you find good performance in roads too with this pressure or you have it increased outside the street? I actually tried the 43,5 psi suggested and the car becomes too unconfortable in street use. After your message I reduced to 38 psi front and rear and it is now much better, by I have mixed use street and road.

Paulo, not sure wher you live. Try going with about 32PSI all round. Keep an eye on tire ware to make sure they are going down evenly. If you live in a cooler climate add a few extra PSI.

I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which is a bit hotter than CA. In summer it can get to 38/40 degrees Celsius. In winter it is 15/25.

I run the recommended pressure posted on the door, in my opinion if Lamborghini posted it I'm sure there is R&D behind it. Don't forget the car can do 200mph and running 10lbs less is sure to have an effect.

I am pretty sure the manuals from 06 and up recommend a lower pressure. My 05 manual doesn't say anything specific about the tire pressure. Can anyone with an 06 manual confirm?

Default Gallardo Tyre pressures

Book says 35/35 for 04 Gallardos. I can't imagine it's different for the newer models. 45 is for high speed track use only.

Just read the Official Lamborghini shop manual on this.

It says:-
Cold inflation pressure:-
Front 2.3 bar (33.358 psi)
Rear 2.2 bar (31.9 psi)

For speeds > 260 km/hour
Front 3.0 bar (43.5 psi)
Rear 3.0 bar (43.5 psi).
