Default Gallardo rollback on hill?

Hi there.. this may be a really stupid question but how exactly are you supposed to control the gallardo on a slope?

I have a 2006 gallardo with e-gear and when you're on a slope (not very steep), the car starts rolling back the moment you let go of the brake.

Now this is not a serious issue but sometimes I'm stuck in in bumper to bumper to traffic on a slope and even when i quickly switch from brake to accelerator the car will still roll back a bit in that time and obviously this can be a problem when there are very close cars behind me..

Is there something I should be doing that I don't know about?

There's only two pedals in the e-gear, you can give it some gas before releasing the brake.

Sure I can try that (using both legs) .. but what I meant is.. is this normal for the gallardo? Has anybody else faced this? On regular slopes the F-430 doesn't roll.. it actually stays quite stationary like an automatic car..

I'll see if I can find a parking lot I can try that on, we don't have too many hills here in Tampa.

I can't imagine driving it in San Fran Cobra, you either roll back into someone or dump the clutch quick and plow into someone.

Your right, the 430 doesn't roll as easily, but its totally normal in the G. Just use the foot brake or the hand brake to control it - like you would on a manual (with the hand brake).
