Default Gallardo Brake Pads & Rotars

Does anybody know if the pads and rotars on the Gallardo are a standard Audi part like so many other parts on the car, or are they an exclusive sized part only available from lambo?

Go to lamboweb.com and look under repairs, Gallardo, John has done a great job of providing information and pictures! Hope this helps answer your questions...

Audi RS6 rotors and pads. You may have to drill out the pads for the wear sensors.or leave em unhooked .but they are the same

Norcal2 are you sure the Audi RS6 pads will fit. On some of the web site illustrations they look different to those on the Gallardo. For example:-
EBC Redstuff Ceramic Brake Pad - ProStreetOnline.com

Did you mean the Audi R8.

I can assure you the RS6 rotors and pads work - I have had them on my G for track duty for years. RS6 rotors do not have the retention hole on them to fasten the rotor to the hub, but I just leave it off, as the lug bolts do the job just fine

What I don't understand is all the pictures I see on the web of RS6 pads look different to the actual pads on the Gallardo. See for example:-

Audi RS6 Brake Pads | Free Shipping | 2003 - 2004, EBC

They all seem to have a metal "wing" sticking out both sides. The Gallardo ones are "regular" almost rectangular shaped.

I do not know if RS6 rears work or not; RS6 fronts do and I use the 2003-up Viper fronts for the rear, as the Viper front caliper is the same as the G rear.
