Default 2007 Gallardo E-Gear Groan

When I shift from N to 1st or from 1st to N, or when the car automatically downshifs from 2nd to 1st or from 1st to N, I get a groaning sound from the front right side of the engine. Anyone have any ideas?

Default Problem Solved

Well, Prestige Imports in North Miami Beach, Florida (Lamborghini - Miami) absolutely did the right thing by me.

I bought the car on Friday, this problem surfaced on Saturday, and on Monday they gave me another car. I am now the proud owner of a G Spyder in Pearl White (instead of a yellow coupe). I went for the Spyder instead of the coupe since my Ferrari 599 GTB is hardtop. I'm thriled with their actions since they (and apparantly no one on this forum) had ever heard this groaning noise before.

I highly reccomend Prestige Imports to anyone looking for a new Lamborghini!!!

I was surprised also.

The 599 might have helped. They asked me how many Ferraris I have owned in the past and I told them over 10. This is my first Lambo and I guess they want to keep me happy and sell me alot of cars. Cause usually the dealer doesn't give a $%^&...

I hear lots of storys of Ferrari owners who have bought several Ferraris from a certain dealership and when they have some problem and expect there loyalty to the dealership to mean something to them and have the dealer help them out the dealer has a pretty much screw you attitude, and when they goto Lamborghini the dealers always ensure happiness.

I agree as far as Lambo is concerned. They were awesome, and the new car is perfect.... so far.

I was told not to shift an e-gear G into 1st from 2nd.
The e-gear computer will get messed up if you do it alot and manual downshifts into
1st should be avoided, let the computer handel it???
Anyone else hear that?

Anyone have the specifications for the shift speed of the various iterations of the eGear software?

Default how to improve shift speed

hi guys

the only thing I was learing was, thaht after the egear update, the shifting speed is much quicker.

I know from expirience (F430), that you can not compare it with a 430 shifting speed.

Apart of thet pure speed, you own a lambo
