No problem with heat dissipation as the clear piece is not sealed it is actually "suspended" on 8 x 8mm thick rubber bushings so the space acts as cooling vents to let the the dissipated engine heat out.
We calculated the area of the cooling vents on the OEM glass cover and have made sure we have the same area on ours but you just cannot see the cooling vents which gives the cover a much "cleaner" look Unlike the OEM one which lets water in when it rains we have incorporated a drain channel so water cannot get into the engine when it rains ![]() |
