Good for you!

Sounds like most every mans dream, mine indeed!

I know what you mean about stress relief, I have found nothing like taking the car out for a drive or even just looking at it. Puts a huge grin on my face everytime.

If you don't mind, I'd love to see some pics of the shop and cars when you get it completed. It sounds like it is going to be awesome.

Once again congrats and enjoy my friend!

Troy

Oh as for the whistle, mine(2006 Spyder) does that too. Almosts sounds like a turbo or supercharger winding up. I kinda like it

For mine it seems to depend on the speed and rpms of the engine, I especially noticed it on the highway with the top down.

However, I am in the process of building a supercar collection (and want to eventually have 10 cars). I am taking delivery of a Red 2004 - Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale on Monday, have a F430 Spyder on order for July delivery, and will take delivery of the first Gallardo Superleggera (yellow) imported into the US shortly.

Also, I have decided to order a LP640 Coupe, and will trade my Roadster for it when it comes. The Roadster is very impractical in South Florida since it rains so much here.

You may ask yourself why I need all these cars - like my wife does, and the response is simple. I am the hardest working person I have ever met, and have never indulged myslef until now. Fortunately, my finances allow me to play with these supercars (flipping them back and forth), and its a release from the pressures of my job - which is VERY stressful. Also, my children (3 boys and a girl) have really taken an interest in my supercar hobby and it allows me to spend alot of time with them and the cars.

I am building out a 5,000 square foot warehouse/clubhouse to store my cars and it will hopefully by a fun meeting place for me to spend time, enjoy looking at the cars and goof around with my friends, my kids and their kids. In addition to providing me with storage for over 10 cars, the warehouse will have an office/living area and bathroom. The office/living area will have an espresso bar, small kitchen, pool table, big screen TV, and lots of seating areas. We have just finished the plans and it should be ready in about 60 days. If your ever in Miami, FL, send me an email and you can come over and hang out.

Good for you! It is nice to hear about a hard worker who finally rewards themselves. Good luck filling your collection!

Mine is loudest under light acceleration. When I put the hammer down she stops whistling.

Hey guys, been thinking about the whistling more, do you think it's actually the throttle bodies instead of the intake? I recently had the throttle body swapped on my Mercedes G-wagen along with a bunch of Kleeman upgrades and the new one whistles near idle like the Lambo, open it up and whistle is gone.

Almost the same difference, Jorge. Does it really bother you that much though? as tracing and correcting it may not be a trivial ten-minute task.
