Red face Urraco Tool Kit Photos

Does anyone have a tool kit for a Urraco that they would mind sharing photos of each piece? I am trying to assemble a tool kit for my 1975 P250 and can not find anyone that has a Urraco with a tool kit. Also if someone has a photo of the jack kit it would be helpful.

Thanks from San Diego!

Hi Gary!!

I'd like to see pics too when you get them ... a complete toolkit is on my list as well :-)

Unfortunately, I can't contribute pics of anything I know is original. However, if you're in San Diego, I highly recommend you contact Jack Riddell. There are several P250 owner's in SD he can refer you to ... Gene Ondrusek (his car is in the latest issue of Hemming's Sports and Exotic Car) and Chris Holl come to mind. I bet someone has a complete toolkit you can get a good look at. Gary Bobileff should have info as well - have you been by his shop?

Of course I'm sure other folks on the list will have a pic for you soon ...

Regardless, if you don't know how to get in touch w/ Jack, Chris, or Gary, let me know and I'll PM you ... Good luck, tell 'em I sent you :-) Plenty of other Lambo folks in your area too, but Chris and Gene are the two P250 owner's that come to mind immediately ...

Regards,

Bryan

Maybe a picture is as rare as the actual took kit. Only pix I have.

This is from a early Jalpa but I suspect it may be very similar???

Lorenzo,

interesting and helpful!! I'm told the very early cars like the 350, 400 and the Miura for example had a burlap type tool bag (believe it or not) and a knock off hammer of course :-) Would it be worthwhile to ask some Espada, Jarama and early Countach folks as well as their cars were sold during the same time period as the P250?

Re-originals has talked about putting a replica toolkit together from time to time ... haven't looked at their site for a while ... unlikley to be inexpensive ...

Jacques at Maseratisource on eBay often has older Italian tools used by Lambo (and others) in toolkits. If we can figure out what should be in the kit, he could help find it.

Regards,

Bryan

Thanks Bryan and others for their information. I purchased the car from Gary Bobileff who also services my Ferrari, and have spoken a few times with Chris Holl who doesn’t have a tool kit and doesn’t think that Gene has one either. According to Gary many of the tool kits for these cars were purchased by Miura owners and are now part of their kits. I have spoken with a company in here in Southern California who can fabricate most any Italian tool but needs an example of what to make.

If I do find a photo of the tool kit I will post it here. In the interim if anyone else can think of someone who might have a complete tool kit I would appreciate hearing from them.

Thanks!

I heard in the Jalpa tool kit there is a tool that is bent in a way to get the inside bank of spark plugs out w/ out using the access panel the newer cars have???? Any body can confirm that??
