Default Urraco oil and filter

What kind of oil do you use on your urraco?

I'm changing the oil and filter and I'm wondering witch filter people use on their urraco, and what kind of oil..

On the car it sais agip SAE 20 50 sint 2000.. isn't that right? Do you people use that oil or do you use Castrol tws for instance?

Best regards

Daniel

Hi,

you can use any synthetic or semi-synthetic oil of 10W40 or 10W50.
Don't go below 10W, that oil is too thin.

I made good experience with Mobil 1 15W50 and also with Motorex 10W50, Agip Sint2000 10W40 is also OK.

at the time the urraco was on the market was no 10W oil, you can use 10w40 without any issues.
Gearbox and differential use the same oil just use the spec which is recommended, every today oil is better than the soup they had 30 years ago...

Oil filter: take a look into the manual, visit a parts dealer and he will give you the exact fitting original or identical other brand. For my QV I found about 7 different brands who make a suitable one.

Schönen Tag an Alle,

after two years, only reading this nice forum, maybe I can help you. I have had the same problem with my Urraco 2.5 when I was changing oil and filter. 20w50 is the recommended oil by Lamborghini, and for this car the best, so I found an Austrian company (www.classol.com).
The oil is perfect, cheap……………
You can use two types of filter, I will tell you tomorrow.

Liebe Grüsse

Hello Vienna! You have used 20w50 with very good results?
I have found out that i can get Agip 20w50 oil from a friend! This would then be the best oil for my urraco.. Don't you think?

Would be great if you could find out what filter you used for your urraco

Best regards Daniel

Schönen Guten Morgen,

If you can get Agip 20w50 this would be the best oil, here in Italy i don't get, so i was using Classic oil. The filter is : UFI 23 110 02 and cost about 25 Euro, it is used also in PORSCHE old type.

Liebe Grüsse
Vienna
