Default Timing belt for Urraco

Does anybody know where to purchase a timing-belt for my Urraco p250? I need it now and I live in norway. Does anybody know about any good sites on the internet?

Best regards

My thoughts as well Raymond :-)

Daniel,

take a look under distribution - part 024 - Lambo part # 001205844. I see you have been talking to Chad as well - speaking form experience, he is an excellent source of parts (and advice) at good prices :-)

I am away from home at the moment and therefore away from my records, but if memory serves the timing belt crosses to an early Lancia Beta A/C belt for cars w/o power steering :-)

From what I've seen on my and other Urracos and heard from owners its a REAL good idea to do the bearings as well. Eurospares should have them and I bet Chad as well. SKF makes a replacement for the originals (again since I'm away from home I don't have the SKF numbers at hand) and also a fully sealed bearing that looks compatible based on specs (not only dimesnions, but RPM, heat range etc.) ... Raymond do you happen to have the SKF numbers for Daniel?

So ... tell us about your car?

Regards,

Bryan

No i have'nt tryed Eurospares before. But it looks like they might have the parts needed for my car. An E-mail to Eurospares is sendt but they haven't replyed, probably because of the holydays.

Does anybody have experience wit Eurospares? Do dey really have all the parts listed in stock? If so that would be just great. SKF? Is that the name of the bearings i could buy from Eurospares?
I will do the bearings too when the engine already is out of the car.

Tell you about my car? Hmmm...

My father bought the car from Sweeden some years ago, when the owner was moving to Spain. It is a Lamborghini Urraco P 250 S from 1973. The colour is silver grey, with black leather interior. During the time in Sweden the car bearly got driven in summer by a mechanic.

My father bought the car but in 2004 he tragically past away, and then the car became my responcebility.
The car is not driven mutch in the past, and therefore the engine needs an inspection. Im planning to fix the car during winter so I culd get it on the road for summer.

I've got stuff from Eurospare's, they don’t have all the stuff that they show online, but I've got lots of stuff from them that was no longer available from Lamborghini,

I am not positive that it is what you are looking for but there currently is one for sale on EBay in the US. The cost is US $88.91 plus shipping.

I have also had very good luck ordering various parts from the Lamborghini factory through Lamborghini of San Diego.

I've heard from some people that the urraco p250 timing belt is breaking very easy.. That this is a major problem to the car even if the belt is brand new.

Somebody with experiences?

Is it possible to improve the construction of any kind if it is a big problem?

Daniel
