As for the headlight idea. That would be cool but would require more work!?!?
buy a set of bravo silhouette repros from eurospares
they look superb, do not need any mods and you also will have more rear tyres on the ground

Your Jalpa looks amazing and the painting process is an inspiration.

Wheels/rims: The Bravo wheels look very good on the car, but unfortunately they are 15” and it becomes increasingly difficult to find tires for those.

There are other options. I think these 17” Compomotive wheels look good on the car and have many tire options.

Then there is the route I took of widening the original rear wheels to 10” (pictures 2 & 3 here). Unfortunately 16” wheels are not that widespread either, so for tire availability reasons, I didn’t go to the projected maximum of 12”.

Raymond has the wheel offset on his web-site under “Technical Data”. The rear wheels have an unusually large negative offset, which means that almost any wheel with the right (BMW) bolt pattern will fit, with the offset being compensated for by thick spacers.

Here are some picture of the car out today. I will have more in the coming weeks. I still have yet to get the emblems and wipers on. I plan on detailing the crap out of it. I want to do that and get a couple good coats of wax before I put them on. I bought some new studio lights so I used them on the two images not at the gas station. More to come.

Default Holy cr@p!

That's the first time in a loooong time I have seen your Jalpa photographed without some combination of your driveway or garage in the background. Did you have help pushing that thing to the filling station or did you get a tow?

Detour tells me I am way too nice in my posts... I am trying to turn over a new leaf here.
