Default Radiator Leaks

Looks my radiator has started leaking quite badly.

I'm not sure whether to get a new one or get in recored, etc.

A quick look on Lambo stuff & Eurospares shows a new ones price is circa USD2.5K. So getting it recored seems a viable option!

Unless there is a replacement from another car, possibly Fiat X1/9?

Recoring such a radiator costs maximum $500 not more, so got for it, I had the radiators in my CT also recored.

Unfortunately I never saw a X1/9 radiator, if that one suits it might be even cheaper, but you have to make sure you get a new one, not one which was lying around for 20 years.

Thanks for the input, Raymond.

I had a bit of a surf and the X1/9 Radiator looks similar (here) but the water pipes are on different sides, unlike the
Jalpa.

Oh well, I can get the lower bracket powder coated whilst its off too.
It doesn't look like a big job, is it?

I think on Raymonds site, a bleeder valve is recommended, so if you have it recored add that to the list as well.
