Jalpa_Mike's New Toy
I got my lift installed yesterday. Wow, I love it. As you can tell from a couple of the photo's, I need to relocate my garage door opener and tracks so I can take full advantage of the 6 foot lifting height.
I don't plan on parking the Maserati under it (or my wife's Saab) as I intend on using mine for maintenance work. I also included a shot of the sliding "Drip trays" and the 3500 lbs sliding jack which allows you the ability to jack up a front or rear axle and removed the wheels.

Hi Mike,
great idea, I will have one in my new house as well... it's cool that it's closed to the ground, like this you can put another car under the oil dropping lambo  You need to install such a door:  I have those, they need only 2 feet room.

I have 10 foot ceilings in the garage. At the height shown in the picture, its right at about 3.5 feet off the ground. If I move (or replace the garage door opener), it will give me another 2 1/2 feet to raise it. At it's highest level, it will be just over 6 feet. Right now, its perfect for sitting on a rolling chair and sitting down while working! Very comfortable.

Yes, that is correct. 2 1/2 feet, not inches. hahahaha... my little fingers were typing like mad and must have hit the wrong key!
