That's a diode in the headlight which doesn't stop the motor as expected.

My driver side headlight also does that, If you get out of the car and hold the headlight it will stay in place.

But that's not the fix...

The headlight motor should stop at the top position, this is done by a diode, I can remember to have read it somewhere.

Could it be like on the European Countach ?...in the fuse box, one of the wires (yellow and black if I remember well) which has something to do with an extra (or minus) for the cars which were to be exported to the US should not be connected to any connector. If it is connected, then, for a reason I can't explain, the headlights go up/down/up/down/etc...sometime both together, sometime only one...the most funny one being when one goes up while the other goes down and so on.. Scary when it happens for the first time...but funny once you found out what the problem was

Depends..Emery, where are you from ? (would have helped if you had filled the registration public profile properly )

About 80 degrees F.....great top off driving weather. Nope...US spec car.
Thanks for reminding me to put in my location.

also Thanks Rhyno, for the tip to get it to stop. I will use that until I get it fixed properly. Kinda embarassing in a crowd.

Exclamation

Make sure the relay ground wires are securely fastened and have a good connection. Mine used to do that and that was the fix.

They are located on the side walls.

Hope this helps you.
