That's a diode in the headlight which doesn't stop the motor as expected.

But that's not the fix...
The headlight motor should stop at the top position, this is done by a diode, I can remember to have read it somewhere.

About 80 degrees F.....great top off driving weather. Nope...US spec car.
Thanks for reminding me to put in my location. also Thanks Rhyno, for the tip to get it to stop. I will use that until I get it fixed properly. Kinda embarassing in a crowd. |

Make sure the relay ground wires are securely fastened and have a good connection. Mine used to do that and that was the fix.
They are located on the side walls. Hope this helps you. - Larry
