Default Jalpa Headlights

Hi Gentlemen. Thanks to Raymond for alerting me to this forum. Lots of knowledgeable Jalpa owners here. Mine is a white on black FLA12194 with wing and Ansa exhaust as well as 17 inch rims.
Just wondering if anyone has had an issue with the headlights continuing to go up and down when turned on?
Mine winks constantly, mostly the driver side.

It is most likely a bad ground. I would check to make sure that all the wires have a good connection. JR could probably tell you a couple other things to check. Welcome to the board. Another Jalpa is aways good in my book.

Hey Jeff,

You finally made it here.

As far as your blinking headlights. There is a ground wire on the headlight motor relays.

They are mounted just back of the headlight motors on both sides. Just make sure they are tight.

I had the same issue going on and now I do not.

Thanks,

So the relays are behind the motors not in the relay box on the passenger side? I'll try that.

Default No go

I tried the grounds and the relays and figure it must be something internally. Raymond suggests diodes so I will have to check that out. Anyone removed the motors before? How?

Jeff
