Anyone had this issue?

I just had the gearbox fluid changed and the fluid put in was a Motul 75w/90 synthetic.
In looking at the manual it says 80w/90 no mention of synthetic.

Now the car won't shift at rest into 2nd or 3rd.
Although it sounds like syncros, the coincidence is too strong. Any thoughts?

It depends...
if you can't shift into 2nd and 3rd when the engine is off it's not a synchro problem but a bad alignment of the shifter, did you check your engine mounts?

Normally the synchro of the 2nd gear is a problem on every car since this is the most used.
