Default Jalpa Fuse Box

Hi all,

Under the front cover, one of the fuse box covers has broken off. It is the small square one, see Item 57 on Page 8 of the Parts Manual.

Does anyone know which other vehicles this part is shared with?

Driving in the rain is producing some amusing results with this cover missing. The left headlight keeps going up and down, whilst the lights are on.

I think that's a common Bosch part you can find on classic car auctions.

Hi Raymond,

I don't suppose you could provide a little more detail, could you? There are a couple of us that are trying to find one.

The closest I've managed to find is this one, but it is a Lucas part, so I doubt it will fit.

I just pulled mine off hoping to find any sort of part number on it. Unfortunately, there is nothing on it at all! No numbers, no name, nothing.

Here is a shot if that helps. Same part is used on the Espada and QV Countach if that helps.....

Hey I appreciate the photo Mike, top banana. Gives me an idea of what to look more.

I've been through the diagrams on Eurospares and it looks like the long fuse box is used across the range, that little unit seems to be unique.

However, thanks to your photo, I found this. I'll be giving them a call on Monday!

Mike is there a decal on the inside of the cover? Any chance of a decent photo as I can get them made up very easily.

Sorry, there is no sticker or anything inside of it. No even a date code, P/N, etc.. like you find on most injection molded plastic parts.

The one at Re-Originals looks like what you need! Let us know how it works out.

I am going to take a quick picture of my fuse pannel tonight. I do not think that cover would fit my car and I am wondering if my pannel has been modified?

I tried to use the Re-Originals web site, but they've been having server problems, so I gave them a call. I then realised it was a 6 hour difference so I called them again, much later.

Ordered the fusebox on the phone, it arrived a couple of days later, via DHL and it fits perfectly.

I took the retaining screw out and tried it on the replacement part, to check that the threads, etc were correct and it fits:

I then tried the cover and it fitts perfectly:

SOrry the pictures aren't great, I'm breaking in a new phone...
