Default Jalpa Door Checks

Does anyone know where I might be able to obtain a pair of door checks for my Jalpa? Mine have been busted since the day I bought the car, and am finally getting around to look at replacing them.

They are shown in the Jalpa parts book on Table 47, item #: 23.

Thanks!

Mike

Mike,

Are you talking about the strap that keeps the door from opening to far?

If so my mechanic welded up some from a Honda Accord and they seem to work very well. I will take photos if you want.

Hi Dave,

Yes, mine are broke and you have to be really careful not to allow the doors to swing open! hahahaa...

Love to see the photo's of what you have.

Jason at Lambostuff.com is checking to see if he can get them. They show as NLA in the database. They aren't too expensive either. The old Lambo price list shows them at something like $45.00 ea.
