And I would think Mike (at Evans) would maybe bring his Urraco for a lap though the Mountains.

I can't wait to meet you, Chris!

My engine is not going to good. I can't get him to start the head. I've been up there 5 time in the past 2 weeks so I can get my engine, and have just have some one else do the head. But no ones at the shop.

That doesn't sound good at all. Good-luck and keep us posted.

Sorry I haven't been on in a long time. But I have some good news. Last month I finally got my engine back and I got the done heads, I call Evens and I really like him but I couldn’t get a way from work long enough to take them up there but I found a really good shop, so I got them back three weeks ago. Today I start to put the engine back in. Here are some of the pictures I have, I will get the rest off my camera tomorrow

I made a new aluminum fire wall, the old one It was in rough shape from people removing the engine, they must have hit it.

I finely got the heads on

Very nice this new shield, I only wonder why you didn't take the chance to install the access panel to the hidden cylinder row. Also why do you still use the old bosch coil with the MSD six, the Blaster 2 costs you $40...

engine looks great. your pics reminded me i need to see what my headers look like on my Jalpa. i want to remove the Swiss exhaust, and i may as well just replace all of it while we have the engine out.

It's great to see your project moving! I would agree on adding the access panel for future repairs.
