Could be the drivers...did anyone ever stop to think that maybe this may have been a couple of guys trying their hardest to make a Lambo look bad? It wouldn't take much more than an idiot with a video camera...oh wait, we saw two in the videos...not to mention, the Vette kept his foot in it LONG after the Gallardo let up...I mean really, what's cheaper to replace...the clutch in a Z06 Corvette, or the clutch in a Gallardo? I say beat the crap out of the cheaper and save the pleasure of driving the Gcar for after the race...Lambo isn't all about who;s faster in the straight line...drive to your local grocery store and tell me, how many Corvettes will you see? Now how many Lambos...I'd take the Lambo any day of the week.

Hell, the fastest car in the world could have a bad day at the track...does that mean the car that beat him was better...or even faster? Nope...just had a better day. Put an unbiased driver in each of those cars and I guarantee the results would be different. I've driven both the Z06 and the Gallardo HARD, and the Gcar is hands down the better car.

Could it just be that the drivers arent matched? I mean, if you put me in a Murcie right now (I have no supercar experience what so ever) and made me race, im sure a 360 could beat me...
Besides, doesnt it matter to anyone that the lambo starts 1/2 a car length behind?

I'm just saying in general. If you think your car is better then a Lamborghini because its faster, your are incredibly wrong.

That video sucked. Was that an Aston Martin or a Mazda. Was the Lambo racing the guy or what.

I will make sure to show you some more videos of the 06 ZO6 and the Gallardo when they start rolling in. I guarantee there will be more races and I couldnt quite tell about the results but it will be really close. And wait for the Magazines will that be unbiased enough for you?

Well my car is more reliable(from what I read about the Murcialago(sp) on this site) and fast. No it doenst have the "pimp factor" that a Lamborghini has but I dont need a car to get laid. Dont get me wrong I love Lamborghinis and if I ever have enough money for one I will buy one.

Yea I know but there will be plenty more videos out of that match up.

No offense but none of us really care to see them. Post them at F-Body.com where everyone can feel all warm and fuzzy watching them. I hate to tell you but I can make a Yugo faster than a lamborghini but at the end of the day it is still a Yugo. What is the real reason you are on this site??? I don't see too many posts from you about useful information.

P.S. If you think that car magazines are unbias you are very naive.

I dont think you get it, get a ride, or even better yet, drive a Lamborghini. Theres a reason why they're so special. They can make the driver feel.... like hes on top of the world.

For a group of auto enthusiast that's attitude is suppose to center around appreciation and self-development to help encourage other people to become Lamborghini owners, I notice a consistent pattern of putting down people that do not own a Lamborghini.

Hell I am glad that F-body put up that video, since that is the first new clip I have seen from this site in a while. I agree Lamborghini's are more than speed and good looks; they are about status, but hopefully not about building up someone's ego!

No one is putting anyone down. We are all here to talk about and help each other with Lamborghinis. When someone continues to post things asking why did the Lamborghini not beat a Chevy Camaro or Corvette, it tends to bother people. We welcome all people here and go out of our way to answer the "real" questions. None of us were in the car that lost so we can't answer the question. My personal opinion is that there is no need for a Lamborghini owner to prove anything to anyone. IT IS NOT ONLY ABOUT SPEED or GETTING ATTENTION!!! It is about quality, craft, rarity, and fit and finish. All things that mass production cars lack. Oh and by the way, welcome to the board.
