That is a C5 Z06 ('01-'04), not the new one; trust me, I used to own an '03. Surprised it kept up with the Gallardo, though. From personal experience, I'm guessing the Z06 was modified.

Oh crap it is. I guess I just assumed it was since thats what it was when I read it somewhere else. And yes the vette was not stock but all it had was a intake and a cat back exhaust. Probaly 325-350hp at the wheels compared to a 550bhp car. Thats kind of bad on behalf of the Lamborghinis part.

This was the video I was looking for:

This is a 2006 ZO6 (stock) vs Gallardo (stock)

Heres the shot from the Gallardo:

Are you hoping that someone is going to say that Chevy is better??? You continue to miss the point of Lamborghini. You keep showing all of us some non-sense street racing with Chevy vs. Lamborghini. I can guarantee you that not one of us is going to say "WOW! I am going to sell the Lamborghini and get one of those great mass produced Street beasts" Most of us love all cars. I like the Corvette. But the corvette is no competition for ANY lamborghini. There is more to a Lamborghini than hillbilly street racing. The sooner you learn this the smarter you'll sound in these discussions you are always trying to have.

i can't see anithing so unbelievable, let me explain:

corvette 7 litre - 2wd 1450(i think....) Kg car
gallardo 5 litre - awd 1450 Kg car
the vette could be faster on the straight,
i still prefer the G car, the vette is a complete different thing,

if the matter is only acceleration time you'd better give up with lambo....well with car in general: big japanese bike is the way to go

p.s. nice avatar

Yeah, so what if your 1000hp car can beat a Lamborghini. Lambos are more then just speed and beautiful looks. They come with pimp factor, they come with a financial status factor, and they also come with a raw emotional feeling when you drive them and a lot of other feelings to. Drive a 1000hp Corvette then take a ride in a Lamborghini and tell me which one is better.

What are you talking about? where did you get the 1000hp part from? The car in the first vid had maybe 420bhp the one in the second was stock with 505bhp.
