Default Diecast question

Maybe someone out there knows the answer to this....

How do companies decide which color's to paint their diecast models?

For example, I'd love to get a 1/18th scale QV Countach from Kyosho, but its only in White and Blue.

Now, I can understand the White color, but Blue? I mean, how many QV's ever left the factory in that color????? Why not Red, Black, Yellow????? Or??

Just curious how they would ever decide on a blue color like that:
KYOSHOˇĂPRODUCT | DIE-CAST | 1/18ˇˇScale Lamborghini Countach LP5000QV Blue

Good question. Probably just personal preference of the person in charge

Such a blue car runs in Japan...

Even worse is MR Models in Italy, hardly any of their paint match the real color!
