one of the best Lambo models out there is the 1:12 scale Murcielago by Auto Art around 350 to 500 USD. Its really stunning.

MR makes the best Lamborghini's. Looksmart comes right after MR. Looksmart also makes some very interesting Lamborghini cars like the Gallardo Polizia and the Raptor for example.

Looksmart is MR except being produced in China

All MR models have major errors because Egidio is not researching enough!

Looksmart is a sub-company of MR and its models are made in Italy. Now as far as MR is concerned, in my opinion their products are among the best of the industry(in a price range up to 500$)..

Looksmart models are produced in china, put in boxes in Italy.

I know this from my dealer who's picking the models directly at MR's factory, he has seen the Looksmarts containers coming from china with his own eyes!

Of course it is, or what elsye could be the reason why Looksmart cost half the price of the MR range...

Hi all! New member here (not an owner, just a fan).

Sorry to resurrect this thread...

I have been collecting diecasts for a little over a year. I have yet to add a Lamborghini but just ordered the Autoart 1:18 Gallardo in orange (with the clear engine cover). I will also eventually add the Autoart Countach 5000S in red (or maybe black).

Anyway, I have some questions about models, particularly the Gallardo:

I've noticed on eBay that LookSmart is making the Gallardo Spyder. I've seen pics of the yellow and black (open top) and white (closed top). There is also a red (I am REALLY hoping it's the Rosso Metis) but I haven't been able to find any pics. I e-mailed LS earlier today but does anybody have or know of a site that has some pics of the LS Gallardo Spyder in red?

Autoart is apparently making a 1:12 Gallardo. I've e-mailed Aa but does anybody know the colors? I've seen mention of yellow, orange, and silver. Any word of white, blue, or red?
