That's exactly what I said to my dealer but I assure you they are unveiling a special edition Huracan at Geneva from what he has told me! Whether the AVIO is a code name or the actual name, i'm not sure, but this is the information I have been given.
Interesting. I would speculate that they wouldn't use that because that nomenclature would conflict with the Murcie where there is already an LP640. I think the upcoming RWD Huracan will more likely be lower powered than the regular coupe. As such, it I'm guessing LP580-2. A possible Superleggera version would bump up the horsepower a bit and drop a few pounds to get better performance...an LP620-4, though there are rumors abound that the SL might actually end up being RWD (LP620-2). We'll have to wait and see what Lamborghini brings to the "table" at the Geneva Show...
So, let me understand this correctly. You ordered the car that you never heard of before, nor ever seen. All based on your brother's info.
Who is the dealer, I wanna order the second out of the two available.
Wow, some gutsy people here to place an order like this without any info? More power to ya though! I'm very excited to see what this Avio is all about. I'm sure not as excited as the OP though. lol.
Hey, I can confirm the Avio is coming out in Geneva next month. Our dealership is getting a few of them so there will definitely be more than 2 in the UK. The only other thing we know is that it has a stripe running down the car.
Something similar to the Balboni edition of the Gallardo?
.
Kingsta, teikchua's comment seems to make sense. If the car is slated for a total production of 250, I would think that more than 2 would be allocated for the UK. I wish we had more information about it...aargh...having to wait for the Geneva Show!
I did not believe Lamborghini at the time when they said only 2 are coming to the UK However they have confirmed via Email that 2 will only come to the UK. They said if more do come, we will definitely know at Geneva and will be entitled to a full refund.
If you want to keep updated and see the cars you can follow the IG page : Rosso_mars
I also have a fact sheet made up of what Lambo have told us about the AVIO, including the main colour to be matte military green, if you want the fact sheet DM me on Instagram as i dont want to post it all over the internet
Post the fact sheet, that's the point of the forum. Not to go on instagram and follow you. Sorry guys but I'm calling some bull**** here. Also, since when do ordered cars require a full payment? I've ordered many cars and a deposit is plenty.
your just coming to your own conclusions now, no one has said anything about putting full payment on the car......?
I'm not posting the fact sheet as it will end up on other websites in articles. and if you want to call bull **** on that google Lamborghini Avio and see the articles that have been written just of this thread.
I'm not quite sure you understood what i was saying. Articles linking back to this post is exactly why i don't want to post the fact sheet. It is a fact sheet compiled by me, not an official document by Lamborghini. Everything is from what i've been told by my dealer, so how would that prove anything? Im simply offering information for people that love and care about Lamborghini's to know they can expect a Limited edition Huracan revealed at Geneva....
Frankly I'm not here to reassure or prove anything to people if they dont believe, feel skeptical or think we're 'bull ****ting' . I'm just here to share my passion and love for cars, if you dont believe me then call up your local Lamborghini dealer and ask them about the Avio? or wait 3 week its really not along time till Geneva and then you will see (Y)
everyone seem's so Negative on this forum just for sharing information...

You are right. I misunderstood. I thought the fact sheet was something from Lamborghini. If it's compiled by you, then it too is meaningless as a proof. It also means that there should be nothing preventing you from posting the information. Had it been something official from the company that has not been released to the general public, then I can understand your reticence to making it public. That could be taken as betraying the trust that the company has placed in you by sharing confidential information that has not yet been made public, but that is clearly not the case here.
Lastly, it's not about negativity. It is about being realistic. I don't see how a reputable automotive writer would not have heard about and written about this rumored upcoming vehicle. The only articles on the web refer ONLY to this thread. There is NOTHING there to indicate otherwise. If you got your information from your dealer, then other dealers AND the automotive world in general should already have information about it...yet there isn't even the WORD "AVIO" mentioned anywhere else by anyone else.
I'm not saying that there is no way there isn't an upcoming new car. I'm just saying that it doesn't sound plausible and your not sharing what you claim to know doesn't help your case. BTW, there is a company called Avio Interiors that has a connection with Lamborghini. They make airplane seats. Maybe what's coming up isn't actually from Lamborghini but from Avio Interiors who are diversifying into automobile seats and using Huracans as show pieces...
I think we are all making too be of a deal out of this. There is an Huracan Avio, and it is to be revealed at the Geneva motor show in about 3 weeks. That's it, no big deal, you can google it. I just hope it is an exciting new iteration. As far as Kingsta and his obvious success at such a young age, all the best.
Not sure why no one believes even after news has spread that Lamborghini have filed for trade mark of Avio under supercars, Something that has come from multiple sources not me >_< but anyway guess they will just see at Geneva
Below is the direct link to the article. Unfortunately, I can't find an actual patent application by Lamborghini or any mention of such an application from any traditional automotive site. What I don't understand is why there has been no mention of this vehicle on any such site. I would think that C&D, MT, R&T or any other top automotive outlet would have mentioned this by now. If dealerships know about it and have told prospective buyers who have put down deposits on the car, then these outlets SHOULD know and SHOULD have reported about it. A couple of unknown people making unsubstantiated and unverifiable claims on the internet doesn't make it true. Kingsta/Ish(pal), why don't you post the contact/email of your Lamborghini dealer/salesman so that we can directly verify the "fact sheet" (you feel reluctant to share) that you have compiled of the existence of this Avio.
Well Sam you have to admit that this discussion has been lees than boring, and who knows we might be in for a delightful surprise soon. I just see this as all part of the fun. Kingsta and Ish should be given the benefit of the doubt at any rate. Besides everyone is welcome here, and I have enjoyed the provocative comments. Lol!
Absolutely, Russk! This has become a livelier thread than usual. LOL! I was one of the first to respond, and I gave the benefit of the doubt. It doesn't matter either way to me, but I would love if Lamborghini makes another car. It is now evening in London and it is unfortunate that Kingsta/Ish decided to delay a response until businesses are good and closed for the weekend...
Just in case, I reached out to a contact at a Lamborghini dealer to find out if there was something in the works. He responded back that he has heard nothing about it, but if such a car does exist, he finds it dubious that someone would be able to compile so much information on a car that has not even been announced yet! He also said that dealers will happily take deposits on potential future cars...regardless of whether such cars exist or whether such cars go into production or not. So, Kingsta/Ish's dealership has all sort of information, but the largest Lamborghini dealership in the US hasn't heard a peep....well, we will just have to wait for the Geneva Show to know for sure!
On secret, limited edition projects like this...sometimes you just have to trust Lambo and throw down without much info, otherwise you miss out when someone else does.
Guess you'll see at Geneva boys! I don't have any reason to lie but only time will tell.
All our cars are on our YouTube channel I think and if you think they're fake/someone else's you're probably not going to believe a picture so I won't waste any time with that.
Interesting off center double stripe. I can't wait to hear more details about the car...and I hope it's not just cosmetic. BTW, I noticed that it is matte blue with a possible white lower side...not matte green.
It does look a little "bland"...possibly due to the "baby blue" color choice...but I look forward to seeing your pics, kingsta!
On a side note, shmee150 posted some Bugatti Chiron pics, and I must say that I'm not very impressed with that either. Again, they used a baby blue.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
