Default White Countach in the snow

Hi Everyone
Here's this year's middle age crisis toy: on the way to Italy this Summer. What a delight to discover all the scary stories about owning and driving a Lamborghini were rubbish... so far at least
The car's on the way to KL at the moment, where it will have an interior refit.
I'm reverse-engineering a lot of the electrics - no manuals or drawings exist -apparently many records were burned at the factory when the Malaysians took over. You'll no doubt be hearing from me as things proceed. So far the (egregious, dated) standard headlamps have been replaced with HID units. Wow! a Countach which one can drive at night - here's a first!

Like I always say.... when a man in his forties buys a corvette, that's a crisis. When a man buys a Lamborghini, believe me, There Is No Crisis....

Hi Gentlemen, thanks for all the kind replies.

Yes, Rhyno white is my favourite colour too: I was lucky to find one, and on EBay, no less! I like the way the contrasting black silicone lines accentuate the design.

LOL , Cupcake! I was being facetious of course; the real crisis will come later, when the car arrives in Kuala Lumpur, and I get it stuck on one of the ubiquitous speed bumps, in the middle of rush hour... The embarrassment will no doubt put years on me

Hi again Ian, yes, I just charged the aircon with gas and it saw me from UK to Italy and back without any problems. I’ll have it looked at properly in KL, where Lamborghini-trained mechanics come at GBP 17/hr, somewhat less that in Europe, I suspect.
