Default My Pearl Yellow G with Black Chromed Callistos

My 04 Gallardo was delivered yesterday -- exactly what I wanted. I bought the car from Andy Charlish of Eurosport Fine Automobiles in Alparetta, GA. Andy is a true gentleman, and he was great to deal with. I did add some black chromed callistos that I purchased from NIPPT (Exoticar Auto) who posts here as well. The wheels make the car, and I couldn't be happier with the wheels and the car. I also included a couple of shots of the Gallardo with my Elise.

Probably not. It already has a IMSA custom exhaust which supposedly gives it another 20 HP. The paint was in really good condition, so I had Andy arrange to have a full hood clear bra installed on the car before he shipped it to me.

Really nice Chris. I like the overhead shot. Does the Lotus go when the GTR shows up?

Yes. The stable is full. I've had the Lotus for a little over three years and it is time for a change.

Nice. The 2zz is a fun little engine. You've got to keep up with those lift bolts though, they break every 30,000 miles or so.

Just saw these pictures now. Very nice! So, how does it handle compared to the Elise?

Nothing makes you feel as connected to the road as an Elise when you are going through curves. Once you drive one for awhile, you truly become at one with it. Having said that, the Gallardo feels more stable going through the curves since it is heavier and has AWD. I am a lot more confident with it than the Elise because I am much less concerned about a hump or bumps in a curve causing the back end to break loose. I also much prefer the Gallardo at high speeds in straight stretches too. The Elise definitely starts to feel light and less stable above 110 while the Gallardo feels solid and locked to the road.

Still loving the Gallardo. I find that I drive it more often than the Elise, even the the Elise got much better gas mileage. The Gallardo is just a whole lot more comfortable and roomy and seems less fragile. I use it a couple of times a week to run errands. The car has done great for me other than the initial issues that I had to have addressed (that should have been caught by Lamborghini Atlanta during the PPI).
