Default LCUK Annual Dinner

A couple of threads have been posted on a UK forum with lots of photos from the LCUK Annual Dinner this weekend. Included are photos of the one and only Miura Jota, an equally rare Monza, as well as the new LP640, a stunning Murci roadster, an early LP400 Countach in orange, and a Diablo GT.

Enjoy

tks for sharing

the MONZA looks GREAT

the LP400 in orange is quite a car

p.s. the miura jota is actually a replica: a very good one but not the real one (that is dead since a lot of time)

Nice pics, thanks! Iota is looking good sitting and resting in the rain.
Is the Monza repainted? The coulor looks brighter than before.

I know the Jota is not the original, as I know the person who built it. It was built from a Miura using the drawings that Bob Wallace used on the original, and using original parts where possible, or very carefully replicated parts where it wasn't. The car has the approval of the factory, to the extent that it was displayed in their reception area during the 40th Anniversary Celebrations in 2003.

So whilst technically you are correct in saying that it is just a 'replica' it's as close to the original as possible.

tks for expaining it

i found the "one and only miura jota" could make some believe it was the real Bob Wallace's jota

i have never seen it in person but a lot of pics:i agree this car is as close to the original as it could be (i personally love it and i'd like to own it!) there are some pics of this car driven by owner at factory reception on F-chat

He is working in the States somewhere now I believe. A couple of years ago a friend of mine managed to get him to autograph a photo of my Countach, which I later managed to get Valentino to also autograph.
