Dave (detour), how much boost are you running? I am currently tuned to 10 psi, but have seen 15 psi, which is the goal ... for now.

Laust
I was at 14-16psi for the 503 dyno. The engine self destructed in the 2003 Gumball with the 16psi. So better safe than sorry. I put in the big yellow springs to reduce it so that it is a bit more "reliable". I am right around 9-10psi.

Your car is amazing. Post more pictures of it. I don't think too many people have seen the amount of work you have put into it on this board.

By “popular demand”, here are a few more pictures of my Jalpa.

Pic #1: Intended configuration of the engine. Unfortunately the coil-on-plug configuration did not work with Electromotive’s TEC-3
Pic #2: One new gauge (see if you can spot it)
Pic #3: I got the OEM rear wheels widened to 10”. The wheel wells could probably take 12”, but then it would be almost impossible to find appropriate 16” tires.
Pic #4: The installed engine in working order
Pic #5: Among friends in Palm Springs, CA

Here is a reference to some of the activities necessary to get there:

No Jalpa was harmed during that photo session. I moved it out to get the sleds out for the kids. It does feel like it would do ok in the snow though. Maybe it's the tractor engineering coming out!
