asking prices have seemed to have made a sizeable jump over the last year. Wonder if the trend will continue?

Well this tidbit from the vintage Lambo list helps to answer my question I suppose:

Subject: Re: Nice Red Miura for Sale...not cheap!

Hi Fred,

I had been offered a p400 for $115k three month ago.The car sold for
$125k.It was a nice example but not a show car.I was told that the new owner
was offered $135k the same day. There is an SV currently on the market right
now.It is been offered at $275k.The car is in need of full restoration!!!I
use to be owned by the prince of Egypt and has around 6k miles!Last time I
eared someone had made an offer of $250k.I spoke to John Pollack who knows
the car and has restored Nicolas's cage SV.He said that I will cost around
$150k to do it right!Now we're talking about a $400k SV! so a p400 for $135k
euro/$175k may not sound too high anymore.Just wait a year or two!

Jacques

Are you talking about the Prince of Saudi Arabia car in San Diego? That was being offered for $275K. It needs a total restoration.

P.S. $400K is not unreasonable anymore for a restored late chassis split sump SV. Current late model SV prices are somewhere between $325K and $425K, and theres real money at these levels.

My advice is to do what I did, go out and buy a late model S. Almost the same car at less than half the price.

Default Current Values

I'm interested in the current valuation on the P400 and P400S. This thread looks to be about 3 years old, so it would be interesting to see where this car has gone in that time.
Is there a good guide such as dupont, hemmings, or aution house records?
Thanks,
Vicenzo

someone in my town just bought a black miura (not sure on the model) for 410k from a car shop in the same town.

this was a few weeks ago, car was absolutely stunning though, and perfect.

rumor has it the show room might be getting a pagani soon.
