Default Nice late model Jalpa on eBay

Just saw this Jalpa on eBay this morning. Looks nice, and has the wing for the folks that like it:

Thumbs up

It will be interesting to see if the reserve (I wonder what it is?) is actually met.

So just what should a late 87/88 clean car go for?

I'm thinking that these should be in the range of $35~$40K.

I considering putting my car on the market in the spring. So I'm trying to gauge what it could/should go for.

Unfortunately I think the market for the Jalpa is astill a little low, but I think you are right in saying the value of a good '88 is about 35-40. I looked at that car before the present owner bought it. It was in very good conidtion. I love the side skirts and wing combo. Those are the skirts I am trying to find. I looked on the registry and there are only a few with them... wonder if they are Bodnar or a different company since there are only a few in the world.

Larry, after all your work you are going to sell that beautiful car!

No, not Bobnar, I have the Bobnar skirts, only 3-4 cars have them and only in Switzerland.
Perhaps Koenig Specials of Germany.

Clean Jalpas should be 40 to 50k IMO. They'll get there!

Dietrick is right, sooner or later also the Jalpa prices will raise.

Keep in mind the Jalpa is one of the Lambo models with the lowest production number.

Raymond Larry,

Doesn't Larry have the same side skirts as you Raymond? The flat running board looking ones. I contacted Koenig and they said they never made any for the Jalpa. I do not know if this is true or their records do not go back far enough. I havbe seen a few with the body clad side skirts #191, #383 and two others. I think they were all North American owned...I do not know if this really means anything though.

Default Back to original post ~ Ebay 1988 Jalpa

I just took a look, seller has lowered the reserve, as of right now the next bid will take it at a little over 30K, I'd have to say it's a good deal in relationship to what I've seen over the last couple of years.

P.S., Raymond, I think our side-skirts are the same, maybe someone duplicated the Bobnar units. Mine are made very well and structurally integrated with the body. They are not just added on.

Default It did not sell before.

The same Jalpa is listed again on E-Bay. i wonder what happened, someone bids it to over 30K and only has a 100 bucks or so to claim it. It did not sell so it's now back.
