Hey guys, I'm new to the forum here. I am seriously thinking about buying this car. I definately want a Jalpa. Does anyone know of a nicer one for sale or is this the best one available right now? (at this price) Unfortunatley I can't get down to Florida to see it so I'll have to buy it based off of the photos. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I think that car for that price is Certianly worth looking into!!! 88 is the Last Year of the Jalpas and as such perhaps the most desirable in some ways. If someone was in the Jalpa market a Rd/Tn "88" w.Wing would definately be worth doing some looking at imo.

Well I was ready to buy the car but the seller never got back to me when I asked for a pic of the engine. The only time he got back to me was when I asked if he could bring it to a local shipping station for me to have it shipped. His response was, "depends where it is". He didn't seem too eager to sell the car so I bought a 96 Viper GTS instead. Still considering a Jalpa eventually though.

it looks like the current market is $30K ~ $34K for most clean average units.
