Default Looking for a Diablo in Canada

Hi all,

Like the title says, I am looking for a clean, later model Diablo anywhere in Canada.

I have my finances ready and can transact in a matter of days if I find the right car.

Please help me locate one, as this will be my first Lambo and would like to find a nice example.

I have been lurking here for a long time and I really appreciate the strength and helpfulness of this community.

Thank you.

Contact Roytoy2003...past that, I think there were some restrictions to Diablos in Canada...Dalecorp knows more about that from what I've seen...most everyone has suggested buying in the states, if you have someplace here you can license the thing to, and simply driving it in Canada with a temp...or something along those lines....there is another thread on here with a similiar discussion...RoyToy can definately find you the right car at the right price...I'll pm you his info.

I don't know where in Canada that you are located, but ZR Auto in Calgary had an '01 Diablo and I am quite certain that Lamborghini Toronto has at least one late model Diablo in stock. Lamborghini Vancouver does not have any at this time, but there is a '91 for sale on the Island....

Another consideration is that some of the Diablo SV's and Roadsters are importable into Canada with modification. Federalization will cost you about $15,000.00 depending on the vehicle. If you are interested in one of these Diablo types, then you can contact Alex @ Lamborghini Canada with the serial number to see if its importable...? You are right not to go the non-Canadian registered route, as there would likely be problems with authorities in Canada if your drivers license country of issuance is different from that of the vehicle registration. Also, insurance companies use every opportune excuse to get out of paying a claim, and in the case of a loss on a Lamborghini, I am certain that they would look into the country of registration versus your dominant residency quite carefully.

Toronto Lamborghini also has an 01 Special Edition (#36 of 42 produced in the world). Call Vito, he'll hook ya up.

I've seen the two at Lambo TO (both of which are quite nice), and Vito has been incredibly helpful and professional, so I may just end up picking one of them.

However, I really would like to see if there are any other available out there. I just don't want my first Lambo to be a 'here is what we have, take it or leave it' purchase, I've waited too long for this day.

Dalecorp, thank you for the pointers, but I don't see a Diablo on ZR Auto site!!!

Call Zahir @ ZR Auto -- I believe that he has a customer with a Titanium '01 Diablo that wants to sell....

I saw that particular 01 Diablo just a couple weeks ago, so I know it's still around somewhere. It has an Affolter wing, btw.
