the funny thing is, I'm also a 944 owner (2-1 race car & 1 street car)and a real 944 Turbo fan....of course I owned and raced a 914-6 for many years......

when everything is said & done there is no way to beat a 50/50 wieght balance (or as close as you can get) for handling at high speeds...

The Jalpa is a slow cow compared to my 944 Turbo, the Cup is another story
I was racing this weekend in Hockenheim and won my class

My cup was driven by Jörg van Ommen in 1989 and was placed second behind Roland Asch that year. My car was faster but Roland the better driver...

Here you can see my race car called Harlekin and right my daily driver, total right is a 924 (937) Carrera GT and total left another 944 Turbo S converted to a race car.

@Jeff: you are welcome any time once the engine is fixed... from May on...

When Frank Sinatra got his Miura S in 1970, he said: “If you wanna be someone, buy Ferrari - If you are someone, you own a Lamborghini”.

I'm also a 944 person. Purchased one back in 1982 when I was living in Sydney Australia. Had to trade in my X19 - was a nice upgrade. Just loved and drove the car everywhere with many many high speed runs...
