Looks like the area (cove) surrounding the inside door "handles"

Need the real thing, like the 6.0s. The 6.0 carbon just has a lot of depth because of the fact that it is real. The adhesive stuff most of the guys wouldnt touch it unless they just upgraded from a rice rocket. The simulated ones kinda detract away from the lovely real carbon pieces that later Lambos are known for.

If someone can engineer real carbon fiber door handle pods, speedo, and console area, then more power to him. It's gonna be a serious hurdle. Mere caps won't do. The thickness of the resin may impede assembly and dis assembly. We work with real CF too here. It is not a project I want to undertake for this car. So we also do this 3D CF print. In person it is pretty cool. It is labor intensive and finished to a high degree. We do many show cars this way. Lets face it. It is a fashion statement. The few ounces of weight savings that real CF offers in this application are not going to markedly increase top end or cornering speeds. It just looks good. And yes expensive, but this is custom.

The best way is to leave that piece alone. Most owners like carbon but dont want the fake type. It is indeed extremely hard to adhere these pieces but to do a fake one just doesnt work for owners... Even with the 3d, it still looks different. But, if there is someone that wants it, then you posted in the right area. Again no offense against the work done. Its just that Lambo owners are pretty picky about these things. Case and point, a gallardo owner is not going to show that to a diablo or murci owner, knowing that what they have is fake and the diablos are real. Real carbon fiber gives sense to the cars origins, a sports car with exotic sound, feel, looks, and material. Gallardo owners or Lambo owners would not want fake anything just for fashion statement. The cars are themselves the truest and most authentic fashion statement and to have decaled carbon would detract from that very purpose. I understand it is very hard and expensive to do the real carbon as there are too much contours on the piece. So, I understand your point. Market research at its finest and a blunt but honest reply.

I agree with Dominic. As much as I want to have a carbon fiber instrument gauge cluster, I wouldn't want to ruin my Diablo interior with a fake CF.
