Default 99 Diablo VT ROADSTER

169k

yellow 99 roadster
about 27k miles.
black with yellow piping (few scuffs in the black)
exterior is clean. i just had the authorized lambo body shop go over it and had the bumper, front , and rocker chips fixed
passenger rear wheel has 2 curb burns on the lip.
Mechanically all is good.
Maintained at FOX VALLEY
about due for major service; can be done
replaced bumper and exhaust repair/ partial replacement a couple years ago
slight dent in front passenger front rim.
recent Optima battery
Nav system w/ flip up and Sat radio/ DVD

recently replaced the front passenger side shock
replaced clutch at about 18k (i think); records on file at Fox Valley.

installed the Custer clutch rod and it has held up great.

No sign of failing clutch. many 100-500 mile drives and very easy on the clutch. Runs great. no rattles etc

i have had the car for about 3 years. I used to drive it almost daily then i noticed i was leaving it for a week at a time in order to take the (easier to park downtown) Porsche

anyway, i'll get some pics posted. right now all i have is an unintended picture of it off to the side

inspections welcome as are your questions.

sorry; it's not a photo shoot and i have never taken pictures of the car itself. this is just on file from a sort of home appraisal being done on the street. my car was just in the file so i uploaded it. if you are on this forum chances are you know what a 99 VT Roadster looks like. the description was accurate and it details what you can expect. A picture would never disclose each rock chip or a scuff etc. this doesn't read like a typical For Sale add because anyone buying most likely knows all about the car and they don't want surprises. There are no surprises with this car. it's been great and dependable. the only really noticable flaw is the rim. you need to look close to see anything else

More pictures will be posted when i get around to putting it on Dupont along with a more standard description. i can put them on here also

Default Price Suggestions?

COMMENTS ON PRICE ANYONE? there are not any in this price range, but then there are none that have near 30k miles. you may not be looking now, but what do you feel would be realistic. those on Dupont right now are higher than i would expect. the only one near this price is the older body style w/ flip up headlights. I know i picked the wrong time of year; it was too hard to give up during the summer
If this was yours where would you advertise? i always looked at Dupont

DuPont is not very realistic, kind of a wish book. I think the car is $160-$165K in the dead of winter. The miles are a real killer on these cars, psychological mostly.

OUCH! Hope your not faced with taking that. But selling a car to a private party is brutal, especially a Lambo, maybe it's worth it after all.
