Roy, you sound like that's a good deal. And it probably is, in the US. I can buy a brand new Gallardo for less than 150 k € (190k US Dollars or so) at the Brussels dealership, no transportation cost, no extra import tax...On top of that, the 150 k include 21 % 'VAT' of which I can recuperate half.
Point is: I'ld love to buy a car from you, there is no such person as Roy Cats in Europe, but it's not going to happen unless I move to the States, or, if you can throw me a deal on an Espada III, which is not exactly your thing, I gather. And Diablo's, they are beautiful, but I don't want one. It's just a matter of (lack of maybe) taste. I'll keep reading your posts, maybe something freaked out will happen anywa y.

Thanks Roy. Point is: I would be importing a second hand US car, and that means I will pay US Dollars 223850 for the girl, that's 21 % of 'VAT' I can not recuperate on top of your -I have to admit- great deal, because she's coming from outside the EU. I think US and EU should merge asap.

What you should do is start importing Smart cars from Germany to the US. Like I said before, you can get a new one here for about 12k, much cheaper than in the US.

I think he would have the same problem. It's so great to do business in Europe since we have the 'Euro'. No more extra charges for money transfers, same currency (except for the Brits of course, 'Brittania waves the rules'), no boundaries...You can drive from Stockholm to Lisbon without anybody asking for your passport. I wish we could expand that to the States, and China, for that matter, that would really get business going. Business is fun, ask Roy.

I'm starting to hear talk again about a North American Currency again. US, Canada and Mexico all have a unified dollar. Same Idea as the Euro.
They were talking about it years ago, but because the Canadian dollar was doing so poorly the US didn't want to.
Now they are saying that around Christmas the US/Canadian dollar will be at par and perhaps in the new year the Canadian dollar will be higher. Haven't seen that for about 30 years!
That would be a great time to buy a Lambo form Roy!
