Roy: Is any of this true? Found on other Lambo site.

The car seems cheap, but the story I've heard is that the car fell off the back of a trailer and sustained damage, but this is not disclosed in the ad.

The story goes that the car was not repaired at a factory authorized shop, but at a "friend's" shop...if insurance was paying for it anyway, one has to wonder why the car would have gone to anywhere other than a factory authorized facility

Yes it is true the car fell approx 3 feet from a transport trailer, Last July 2004 ( the idiot driver had not extended the ramps to the secure locking position) damaging the rear bumper, rear fenders, and both side lower rocker panels (Carbon Fiber) the insurance company wanted to FIX them...but I would not have that..we waited 6 months for BRAND new fenders, rear bumber, and drivers side and passanger side carbon fiber rocker panels, the panels wer 5K each, the bumper over 11K and the fenders were 7200 EACH from Lamborghini.....purchased via BMC Lamborghini San Fran......GO CHECK......there was NO frame damage what so ever......IT WAS repaired at an authorized dealer..........They recieved all the dowload infor from BMC and ALL parts even bolts ect..came from BMC all LAMBORGHINI orginal parts...I DID have the car completely re-painted by an authorized PPG tech flown up from South California by the dealer to repaint the ENTIRE car....since the insurance did pay for it.......They removed ALL glass, rubber molding ect....I put my word and reputation behind it........It is currently at Milano for them to reapir the rear mufflers..that were damaged......and to go through the enntire car and make sure nothing else is missing prior to it hitting the street..the are also realigning the wheels.......The car is worth every penny...the price is lower for two reasons..A) I already sold the wing off it for $5k.......I paid 175K for the car with 7800 miles on it....so at 170K I break even...... it now has 11,850 miles on it I have it on E-Bay for will you can see..I have been offered 150K from several people that have seen the car..that KNOW all the history,....that have seen all recieptes.......I think it is worth the asking price.....and if no one wants it......oh well I still have room in the stable.....I just do not need 2 6.0's.

I CAN SAY THAT THIS CAR COMES WITH A MONEY BACK GUARANTEE LIKE I PUT IN THE ADD..PLUS IT WILL HAVE A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH FROM MILANO IMPORTS.......YOU CAN NOT GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT..........

After all, what should we do to any car that has BODY damage..throw them away!!!!! I venture to say that MOST cars get some time of body repair in their life time...at least I did not settle for RERPAIR........I went for NEW REPLACEMENT...NEW PPG FACTORY PAINT....NEW BILL OF HEALTH.....

PS Please POST this on the other forum you saw so that all can get the STRAIGHT word and not just the B.S. someone wips up......

I have spent a lot of time to make my word worth its weight here...I do not need it trashed by an F-Car owner that does not want to pay full price for the car....I know who he is because I disclosed all this to him and would NOT take his offer of $140K.........go buy a used 348......call me back when you are serious..........!!!!!!!!

Roy: Thanks for responding and setting the record straight. Potential buyers will now have all the information they need to make an informed decision on buying the car.

Roy,

those "other sites" live to critasize and trash people. It's the main focus of their existence!!!!

Once you understand that simple premis, then what they have to say is nothing more than static from a bad radio channel!

Am I the only one that would NOT expect this type of information to be disclosed "in the ad"? Its not as if it has a salvage title etc..

If it was a reputable seller then I would expect the information to come out in negotiation discussions sure.... but in the ad??

You Know what Mick, I was thinking the exact same thing!!!

To discuss info with a REAL BUYER is the only point.

I thank you ALL for your good comments and support.........You are right, a REAL BUYER gets the whole story and ALL the paperwork........It kills me all this B.S. over body panels.....NEW ONES replaced........not REPAIRED.....and I go the extra MILE to have MILANO go through it.......I dont think there is anything else I can do.........

And last but not least, I am not holding a gun to anyone's head to buy it......
I will tell you one thing when MILANO is done with it I WILL put it up against ANY 01 6.0 out there..and still kick its you know what!!!!!

Gosh, guys, I was trying to cause anyone grief, merely share information with fellow Lamborghini fans who may be looking to buy.

I remember this thread:

Quote "Since puuting this car up for sale and the time of the sale I was in Canada. Unknown to me till I returned the vehicle was involved in an accident by my detailer shop, (NOT THEIR FAULT).

The vehicle is now back for sale, however I willwait till it is repaired, with damage to the right rear quarter and rear bumper, approx 25-28 k value, the car WILL BE totaly repainted. Will return to post in 2 to 3 months when complete with full pictures at a reduced sale price, SORRY the current buyer and anyone else that felt this was a quick overcoat, NOT THE CASE!!!" End Quote.

At the time of this ad, you freely acknowledged the damage, although a couple of things seemed odd to me:

In another thread, you noted that the car had been repainted due to road rash and such;
In this thread (above) you noted that the car fell off a trailer.
It has been whispered that the car had an off road incident that was the real culprit of the damage.

Of course, only you know the truth...please do not misinterpret my motives; I was only calling attention to a situation because I did not see this information disclosed in the Ebay ad which I believe was misleading.

The lesson that we can ALL learn is that this is a VERY small community. People talk. Your dealer talks. Your repair shop talks. If you have anything to disclose, do so up front...if not, you risk the possibility of tarnishing an otherwise unblemished reputation.

I wish you best of luck with the sale...I had a friend looking at the car ( a serious buyer) but these questions left just enough doubt in his mind to consider other vehicles.

As I think I noted in another post, the car looks great in the pictures and I'm sure you'll find a good home for it...
