Hey guys. I know it's no Lambo, but I think I'm going to sell my '89 Sahara already. This really has a nice patina to it. This one does
not have rust, which is extremely difficult to find for a Jeep 5 years old, let alone 18! It is original, save for the aftermarket bumpers. Has a 4.2 litre with a 5 speed (also hard to find in the Sahara edition, as most were automatics
). Has hard and soft tops. 147K miles. It is not without flaw, of course. Most notably, it needs a carb tune, badly. It has the original Carter carb (which is a total POS) and one of the idle tubes is clogged. This happens often, and it is probably better to replace with something else, if you want to drive it, or rebuild this one, if you want to keep it original. It also needs new gas struts for the rear glass, as it does not stay open on it's own. I rarely open the back, so it's never really been an issue for me, nor will it be for you if you roll topless.
Anyway, I drove this puppy from Philly to Omaha last November without incident. All in all, a really fun toy! Anyway, asking $5,200. If I get that, I'll even put in a new carb. If not, willing to negotiate. PM me if you want more info. And yes, I have the rear seat for it.
