Default 1981 Lamborghini Countach LP400S

Charles, when I had placed my car for sale on the old forum you had sent me an email letting me know you would be ready to buy in a few months. I've lost your info but wanted to give you a heads up that it is still for sale and I'm listing it in the next 2 issues of the Dupont Registry. If you read this then send me a new email.

Raymond,

Thanks. The car was imported into the U.S. in 1986 through Long Beach Harbor. If I'm reading the import papers correctly it came from the Middle East, particularly the Port of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. It was imported by a gentleman named Hassan Sadde. I only know of three of the owners, Mr. Sadde, Tony from Naples, Florida (forum name Tony Lambo), and myself. There may have been more but I do not know of them. I have all receipts for work completed on the car since it was imported and it would seem the car has been gone through thoroughly, including a complete heads off and valve job service less than 5000 miles ago. I recently had the front side marker light changed to euro one's. (see attached photo)

The small side indicators look much better, next step would be to get rid of the others on the rear fenders.

I was going to have them removed, but I knew that the person who buys it will have to get it through their state inspection to get it registered. It would not pass without the rear signal lights.

I found the lights on ebay for $39.00 each. There are some for sale on ebay right now. Do a search for "Lamborghini Lights", you will see them listed under "Lamborghini Countach side marker lights", item# 7928012336. The seller is "formula_racing". The auction will go on for another 1 day and 6 hours.

I am so tempted to buy that car back.... "since I am it's history", and put it next to the Silhouette! I am closing on a Sports Bar near my home in the next 30-45 days and I was going to sell the Silhouette and buy a Diablo VT but your making me think twice. One of the trophies in my avatar I won with that car. John let me know if it does not sell this month and feel free to have people ask me questions on the car.

It's really sweet to buy your special old car back. Many years ago, I sold an NSX to a good friend of mine. Six months later, he decided to sell it. We made a deal and I bought my car back. That is only an NSX, let alone a beatuiful Countach like John's (yours).
