Gallardo GT2
The first Gallardo GT2 is going to take shape this month. First test somewhere next month....
It is based on the 'facelifted' Gallardo, outside very similar but inside much better chassis and suspension parts. Maybe something for ALMS

Is it true that they (Lamborghini) have decided to lever-in a little more action, and to mark the occasion it’s given the new Gallardo the iconic ‘LP’ nomenclature (LP standing for Longitudinale Posteriore)?

Update, there is some delay, Lambo delivered the first chassis only at the end of July ...
At moment the people at Reiter are working flat out, but the test car would only do its first laps by end of September. More news as it develops....

We will all see at this weekends DTM finals at Hockenheim.

Would be nice to see competetion between Ferrari..was just at the final ALMS race at Laguna, always good competetion between Porsche, Ferrari, Acura, Audi, Chevrolet..etc..
