First let me start by saying I own both cars, so I have no reason to make up any of this. The Z06 at the time had a Borla exhaust and diablo predator tune. The LP640 was and is all stock. From a dead stop it was almost an even race to 120mph. At a rolling start, be it 30, 45 or 60mph the LP640 would leave the Z06 like it was sitting still. Now let me close by stating this was all done on a closed private course and performed by or supervised by professional driver's.

Very interesting... but I am not surprised. The LP640 is quick, but the vettes, vipers, porsches, etc have been in the territory for a while now.

I am curious to see how lamborghini responds to this with the next model.

One question, which I feel is pretty significant: Is your LP an e-gear or is it a 6 speed?

Make that two questions, or more of a confirmation. The lambo is a lot smoother and easier to control..?

I say... so what! Big deal, the corvette is faster. Doesn't mean anything other than the corvette being faster. There are cars out there faster than the corvette that cost less. Big deal.
At the end of the day, the corvette is a poor mans ferrari... or in this case, lamborghini.

It has e-gear. And by no means am I comparing the two, I would rather push my Lambo then drive the Corvette. This was a straight line comparsion, the Lambo feels more responsive, as if I'm part of it and not just someone at the wheel.
