Race man-to-man from a dead stop.
Yeah,

but the Gallardo clutch is expensive
But the AWD system is way better from a dead stop.

Don't race him from a roll because that takes away a big advantage of yours. if ya'll were both real wheel drive it would be different..

Vetts are a dime a dozen! he is one of the "many" You are one of the "FEW"
who cares about line cars when you are talking Lamborghini. We are more for the track than he is. Take him to the track and smoke'm.

I have to agree, a start from dead stop is the way to go. The vette will be wasting a lot of time just getting hooked up. Your AWD should make a lot of difference from a stop. At the same time, I gotta agree with the poster who said "You already won, you are driving a Lambo!"

Race him..........On a road with a lot of turns!!!
Our G's will smoke most of the competition when they are ran in the right race. Its not a quarter mile car, you know that! I have raced around with my uncles 07 C6 vette and I was able to pull away. I didnt smoke him by any means but we both knew that he wouldn't be able to keep up. I also used to own a C5. There is know way that car could have touched my G!

Side Note: If he has a Vette, he probably cannot come up with the 5k as easy as you can!

Ride in his car first! Never jump into a race or you will get hustled. And especially watch out for certain imports like Supra's and others who seem somewhat confident or are obviously acting modest. Just letting you know for your own good.

I find it highly doubtful that he is stock if he is pushing for a 5k race and he will probally smoke you.
