Default @nd Annual Castaway Critters Car Show and Benefit

Hello all,

Castaway Critters, celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year, is a non-profit, no-kill 'foster home' animal rescue and spay/neuter charity.

This April 28th (a Saturday) the 2nd Annual Castaway Critters Car Show will take place on the grounds of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum in Hershey, PA.

For a donation of just $20.00 you and your sweet ride will gain entrance to the Car Show, access to the 'Owners Tent' and breakfast, and entrance into the AACA Museum. Guest tickets are just $15.00 and includes 'O.T.' breakfast and museum entrance. There will be Concours Judging with Awards presented, as well as raffles and prizes. Admission to the Concours will be available to the public for a $5.00 donation.

Last year the Inaugural Castaway Critters Car Show drew 100 cars including Lamborghini (Gallardo), Ferrari (F40, 599...), Maserati, Lotus, Aston Martin, Porsche, Spyker, BMW, as well as GT40, Viper, NSX, GTR, etc. As you can see form the pictures, Lamborghini was criminally under-represented.... for the love of all things Holy, let's do something about that!

The official website is HERE, please go check it out for schedule, registration information, pictures, and info on the AACA Museum.

Already a quick follow up... I'm post-call and a bit high on Nyquil... so if a moderator could correct my Title blunder and change @ to 2... that would be great.

Thanks Carol, I fixed the link for the Cool Cars for Cats and Canines in my original post.

Last year I was hoping to have a car for this show, but was still looking for just the right one. With my Gallardo being delivered at the beginning of June I missed this last year, but I am certainly looking forward to the collection of cars this year.

Congrats on the car and thanks for the interest in the meet-up in April.

I am in York. 2006 Gallardo SE, silver (see below).

There is a 1st and 3rd Sat Cars & Coffee in Camp Hill with a great selection of Ferraris, and occ. Lotus, BMW, 'vette, etc.

Also an every Sat group in West Chester.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with this overall areas car culture, and not to insult your intelligence if you are hip to all of this, but there is a lot going on. In Great Falls, VA (about 100 miles for me) there is an amazing early Saturdays C&C at Katie's Coffee that brings in an amazing group of cars. Also lots of folks from the D.C./VA/MD area who get together in various permutations for drives and events.

During the summer there are monthly drives, a bit balls-to-the-wall out of the Frederick, MD area (limited to invite only 15 cars or so), as well as all sorts of events around Philly, Balt, and DC.

Looking forward to seeing your car.

Thanks mtmd11, Where is the meeting place for the "Cars & Coffee in Camp Hill, Pa"?

I really look forward to meeting you in person and getting involved with events throughout the area. My G-Spyder will be shipped on Thursday (San Diego) so should be later part of the month....will post some pic's then.

Would love to talk to you about your G. (Would you be OK with sending me a PM with your contact info.)? I'm a new owner and like to just talk about your experiences sometime.

Oh yeah....gorgeous "SE"-love the blk wheel on silver...Mean!!

Thanks again!

Hey Rhys,
The Cars and Coffee in Camp Hill is the first and third Saturday of the month. Guys typically start showing about 8:30AM. It's held at Sophia's on Market. If we get some rain this week to clean the crap off of the roads, a few guys will probably show up. This time of year, fewer cars show up. But on 2/4/12 we had 6 Ferrari's, 1 Lotus, and Kevin in his Gallardo. And since you're in Hershey, you really have to sign up for this: Cool Cars for Cats and Canines - Exotic Car Show - Home

Hope to see you soon.

Tom
