Default When is a battery minder needed?

I was curious how infrequently one must drive before a battery minder is necessary, or at least recommended? I'll probably try to take my G out at least every other weekend for a bunch of good driving but you never know, with work and all maybe it goes three weeks without activity or more. Or should I just say better safe than sorry and get one anyway?

I would definetly get one.Rember if your battery ever goes completly dead you never want to put a hi amp battery charge or jumper cables with out disconecting the battery first you could fry your electronics so I think that it is much easier to hooh up a tender, and you will always be ready to go.

Cheers Jim

Any particularly good or are they all the same? I have a green one called battery buddy for my WaveRunner, seems to do okay.
