If you are selling, I am looking to buy.
![]() eGear (a must) and other service items must be up to date. Prefer yellow and black interior or black interior with yellow stitching. Yellow calipers and clear bonnet huge pluses. Less than 15,000 miles. I am willing to pay no more than $125,000. I would also consider an orange exterior car with orange stitching. Chris |

For the price you want to spend, you will be looking for a while, espically for an Orange car. 125K window is closer for a 6 speed car in no extra money color, but not e-gear and special color..

I cannot disagree with you, Roy, because you know your stuff. However, I am a patient man, and I always get exactly what I want. I could spend more, but I don't think I need to in this economy. Time is money and eventually a no BS buyer with cash in hand is going to appeal to someone who values their time. Plus, I don't need a Gallardo next week or even next month. I am just in a position to buy one at any time. I am perfectly content to tool around in my Lotus Elise on nice weekends until the right Gallardo comes along at the right price.

I did a quick search on Autotrader and it looks like there are several pearl yellow egears in that price range. Maybe you should give it a look.

Thanks. I have been scanning all potential sources for about a two months now. I also check out the background on the dealerships and that automatically excludes some cars. You wouldn't expect dealerships that frequently sell exotics to have shady reputations, but it is really shocking what you can find out in Lamborghini Talk and other dicussion boards. A lot of those cars that look like a great deal are at dealerships that are well known for passing along problem cars as a standard practice.

You would think these Dealers would hold a higher standard, but it could be just the opposite given the expense it takes to get a marginal car in good shape. Especially one that is depreciating pretty fast. It just doesn't pay.
