Gallardos that didn't come with navigation head units can now be upgraded with OE parts, and re-flashed to co-exist peacefully with the rest of the car. Furthermore, this upgrade will be learned to Lamborghini's database, and the VIN specifics will reflect that the car does have NAV.

This caught my attention, as I understood the few people that have played with this couldn't get the head units to code correctly to work with the other control modules. It was nice to hear that Lamborghini recognizes the customers desires, and made accomodations to achieve them.

Or so I've heard, haven't seen it or done it yet, but we do have a customer that wants to do it.

Anyone with further info? Please add....

I installed the nav from an '06 SE in my '04 without any problem. With the right adaptors and a vagcom it's plug and play.

How were you able to use VAGCOM on the Gallardo? What adapters are you talking about?
